The National Report Card on Higher Education -
Measuring Up 2006 consists of the national report card for higher education and
fifty state report cards. Its purpose is to provide the public and policymakers
with information to assess and improve postsecondary education in each state.
In addition, the site can compare any state with the best-performing states in
each performance category, compare indicator scores and state grades for any
performance category, obtain source and technical information for indicators
and weights, and allow visitors to download the reports. Further, the Measuring
Up Web site has the capacity to view previous report cards from 2000, 2002, and
2004.

American history as a living narrative. This series web site lets you delve further
into the topics of the 26 video programs. For each program you'll find an
interactive feature related to the subject or the time period of the program.
In addition, you'll find a listing of key events of the period, a map relevant
to the period, the transcript of the video program, and a
"Webography" - a set of annotated web links. You will most likely
want to watch the video program before using its related web segments, but you
