Observe Three choral rehearsals under 4 different conductors; One college level, one church  (adult choir), one school (high school or middle school and elementary school)

Observe three voice teachers:  one collegiate, one high school age private student, one younger child

 

 Observations for Rehearsals and Lessons are due by March 27

 Listen to examples.  Cite the ones you think are beautiful, the ones you prefer.

 

 List the benefits of voice study.

 

 Lecture:

What does it mean to teach voice?:  listen to and observe student, evaluate (note the good, diagnose the problems), plan of attack.
