Business in China Class/Trip

To understand China, and how business is done in China, it is important to see the historical sites of china and to understand its history. Thus, we will visit all the important “tourist attractions”. We will also learn about the importance of the tourism economy and how this part of the economy provides the country with revenue that can and has been used to develop the infrastructure enabling more business growth

Knowing the Chinese environment give a person something others do not have and is attractive to a hiring company. Businesses want employees who have some international experience in relating to business in other cultures.

A 3 hour class (spring 2008) including a trip to China starting on May 19, 2008.

The class will study the culture, opportunities, business environment, and methods to do business in China.

The class will tour 5 cities in China, including: Beijing, Xi’an, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong leaving Atlanta May 19, 2008.
