Professor H. Kyle Anderson, CMA, CPA — Accounting

Accounting is a critical part of business and every manager is involved in the accounting process as well as a user of accounting information. I strive to bring my work experience from public accounting into the classroom to help students grasp the roll accounting plays in every successful business. Regardless of whether a student chooses accounting as a career or becomes an effective user of accounting information, I hope to inspire an excitement for accounting in my students.

My goals for my classes are to:

· Instill in students a commitment to understand and utilize accounting data in the decision making process.

· Enable students to understand and interpret financial and managerial accounting reports and their relationship to an effective and successful business.

· Provide real-life accounting experiences to prepare students to be immediately effective in a business following graduation.

· Prepare students for making ethical business decisions in a complicated world.
