Wayne Cox is a Professor of English at Anderson University, in Anderson South Carolina. His main teaching interests are creative writing, modern poetry, American literature and film study. He is also a poet and translator who studied at USC with James Dickey. Most recently, he was awarded a 2005 National Endowment for the Arts Translation fellowship.

 

He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maine at Orono, and his Master's and Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina. He is currently the coordinator of Writing and English at Anderson University, where he has taught since 1992.
